There have been a number of attempts to defeat Delegate Albo over the years, to no avail, and also years when nobody was willing to try. But hallelujah, today he announced his retirement *and* we have a candidate already in the race.
This race is in Northern Virginia, so with a wide open race, we should be able to flip this seat.
(And here is where I apologize for this too-short diary. I am literally on my way to work, and will come back to update it when my day is through. The news was just too good to hold back!)
